The iconic Navajo Squash Blossom Necklace has a long history in Native American jewelry. On this necklace, every sterling silver bead has been made by hand. Squash Blossoms, the flared flower shapes attached to the beads, and the crescent shaped Naja pendant at the bottom are traditional elements. This necklace has beautiful deep blue turquoise stones instead of the traditional flared flower shapes which makes this piece one-of-a-kind. The silver has been oxidized to give it an "Old World" look. This necklace is much smaller and lighter than many Squash Blossom Necklaces so it is comfortable to wear and has a more casual look. Completely handcrafted by a Navajo silversmith in New Mexico. Matching earrings are included.
